"I'm here to help you discover the root causes of any health imbalance you may be experiencing, and to help you address and resolve the cause as effectively as possible using naturopathic (natural) and functional medicine, homeopathy (a specific branch of natural medicine), applied kinesiology, and other proven techniques that address the physical, mental and emotional stressors that can lead to illness."
Dr. Tanski is certified through the Chiropractic Board of Examiners, the International College of Applied Kinesiology, the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board, the Council for Homeopathic Certification, the American Alternative Medical Association (AAMA), and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (MDP), as well as the International BodyTalk Association, Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), a certified master through The Association for Meridian & Energy Therapies (AMT), and EFT Universe. She is also a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association (ANMA) and the National Center for Homeopathy (NCH).
Our Approach

The First Step
Is to determine the most limiting or greatest factor causing the imbalance, based on:
-
Clinical history and intake
-
Clinical findings
-
Laboratory testing (which may include blood chemistry panels, saliva, urine, stool samples or radiographic imaging, from your own previous records, and/or tests we order before or after the initial assesment)
-
In-house testing, such as BodyTalk, applied kinesiology, and meridian testing
Based on our initial intake and functional assessment of labs,
We then determine what types of procedures and treatments would be the best fit for your situation.
We base the assessment on what the current medical and naturopathic scientific literature is saying about the options, with the knowledge, experience and expertise that I have gained through the years of practice, what your body is revealing through the hands-on applied kinesiology testing, as well as based on what your wants, needs, and objectives are.
Through modalities that are used in the office, it is possible to determine the biggest priorities that need to be addressed and in what order.
Knowing the order to address the problems helps give us the most efficient way to proceed, or “the biggest bang for the buck.”
The ultimate outcome is always improved health status or resolution of your health concern, whether it be at the physical or mental-emotional level, or both. Sometimes we need series of weekly or monthly visits, and sometimes people feel significantly better in just 3-4 weeks and do not need additional appointments.

In my opinion, “good medicine” is the therapy most appropriate for an individual at a given point in time, whether natural or conventional.
I believe that the best care utilizes the proper combination of approaches that enable people to identify and address the root cause of their illness while their symptoms are being managed and resolved.

I have also found that lasting healing is very much encouraged and supported by clearing the mental/emotional causes of illness and histories of trauma. I have seen incredible transformations in people when they allow themselves the gift of this work.
For me, naturopathic and functional medicine, homeopathy, and energy medicine are the tri-fold answer to helping you reach and maintain wellness at the levels of mind, body, and spirit.
